Primary Health Care Clinics

The Project

Our noble mission is to champion the creation of clinics in the five provinces where health services remain elusive, enhancing current establishments to offer standard healthcare through a sustainable cost-recovery model.

The Input

The investment required for a well-crafted peripheral health unit, featuring beds, renewable energy for refrigeration, clean water, laboratory facilities, and a pharmacy, is estimated at $220,000.

The construction phase is anticipated to span eight months during the dry season (November to June), followed by one month dedicated to furnishing, equipment installation, and training, estimated at $90,000.

An initial two-year operational cost for maintenance and staffing, which includes community health registered nurses, midwives, and a medical general practitioner, is projected at an additional $60,000 a year, allowing the clinic the necessary time to cultivate revenue and achieve self-sufficiency..

The Outcome
