AGDA SL is an initiative established by the Assemblies of God Mission (SL) General Council in 2022, and is officially registered as a national non-governmental organization in Sierra Leone. The acronym AGDA stands for Assemblies of God Development Agency. Internationally, we are presented as AGDASL, a designation that reflects our geographical context and helps differentiate us from other sister missions or global affiliates sharing the same acronym.
Our mission at AGDA is to create a meaningful and sustainable impact in the lives of individuals within underserved communities.
We are committed to delivering compassionate support and essential resources to local communities. Emphasizing empathy and understanding, we aim to uplift vulnerable populations and empower individuals to overcome both physical and spiritual challenges.
AGDA SL fosters the creation of meaningful relationships that empower individuals. We promote sustainable personal development through the implementation of innovative practices. The AGDA team comprises of volunteers and paid staff from around the world, including Sierra Leone, united by a shared goal of positively impacting the lives of individuals facing difficulties in Sierra Leone.
